Richard grew up in South Westland and was encouraged to paint from an early age. He has recently completed a diploma of art and creativity, which has helped develop his passion and unique style to his paintings. Richard is inspired by images with strong light, colour and shadows, which he can use to express the moods of the environment around him. His subjects include landscape, still life and figure paintings.
