'The point of my art' Lee says, 'is to be creative to a point where the feeling of really being there is presented to the viewer, where rays of light sparkle in the distance, where mist pours over peaks so realistic, it encourages you to step into the painting. Most of all it is the peace and tranquillity and the beauty of nature that my compositions genuinely bring forth, while beyond the naked eye or camera, there is a point where the art comes alive with a spiritual essence that ignites within the viewer and propels them into realising that what they see they can also feel'. The artist says, that as the world changes, so does its tastes and the return of realism in art, in either classical or contemporary expressions, has now begun to come around again joining popularity alongside abstract work once again. The return of realism in art, shows humanities need to understand and appreciate once more, the beauty of nature and form beyond the intellect, touching instead the heart by the viewer looking as if it were through a window at life and nature that is peaceful and calming. This is not an interpretive form of art but instead it is to remind us of nature's pristine beauty and how light when powerfully presented can uplift us and give life to a scene leaving an impression of serenity and peace. Lee's art constantly touches the public by this very truth that we all need to appreciate the world we live in, and why nature and light is so important to our well being, our consciousness and our unity as people of this earth.
