Born in Ireland in 1962, David graduated from the Crawford Municipal School of art in Cork in 1985 and moved to London shortly afterwards. He subsequently settled in Christchurch, NZ in 1997. His early works were of an expressionist nature but he has moved on to produce realistic and highly detailed paintings and drawings of a variety of subjects. David has exhibited at the Cork Art Gallery in Ireland and has taken part in group shows in Ireland and London.
