Tatyana is a Russian-born painter and a graduate of the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy where she also taught drawing and painting. Tatayana now lives in Wellington where she paints and teaches in her Miramar studio. Tatayana is a prize winner of the ARC scholarship and the John F. and Ann Lee Stacey scholarship. Her work can be found in private collections in UK, USA, Europe and New Zealand as well as in the permanent collection of the New Britain Museum of American Art in New Britain, Connecticut.
Tatyana's recent showings include "The Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition 2014", London, UK, Chiaroscuro, New Zealand, NY and The Royal Society of British Painters Exhibition 2015, where she has received the 'De Laszlo Award for Classical Draughtsmanship'.
